System Requirements: Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 (requires Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater), or Windows XP operating system; 32MB RAM minimum; between 300 MB and 1.5GB free hard disk space; DVD-ROM drive; available serial port; 256 color display adapter and monitor (24 bit recommended); and mouse or other pointing device; PC-interface cable. Internet access is also recommended to make use of the unlock process.

I have had a garmin GPS for about 1 year and wanted to add software. While Garmin's are great GPS's, the cost of various map software can be cost prohibitive. Additionally I had read many reviews where people had had significant problems with the map (codes) and customer service. I had neither of these problems and did not need to call customer service. I am happy I waited for this version it was everything I was looking for initially and the TOPO US 2008 will be my next purchase down the road. BTW expensive but good value for all the maps and even better with a 20% off coupon! Fish on!
