This is one tough rope! Its light weight and superb handling make it the right rope for nearly everything.

  • Sharp-edge certified ropes pass an additional drop test that runs the rope over a 0.75mm radius edge; Supersafe's unique coating passed the test
  • Coating Finish process uses Teflon® to treat individual fibers resulting in reduced abrasion, better load distribution and durability
  • Superdry sheath and core is treated to discourage water absorption while resisting dirt and abrasion
  • Duraflex® heat-treatment process on the finished rope helps maintain smooth handling characteristics over time
  • 10.2mm diameter shaves overall weight and improves handling characteristic without seriously impacting the overall performance of the rope
  • Durable kernmantle sheath protects the shock-absorbing core fibers; rope has superb, supple flex

      Lovely rope-- falls are soft, easy to belay with, very durable, and the sharp edge rating is great for piece of mind. A bit heavy for long sport routes, so expert climbers who are more comfortable with a smaller diameter, lighter rope may want to look elsewhere.

      Doesn't have the bi-pattern markings of some ropes, Mammut's regular black markings to indicate ends and center work fine but aren't easy to see. The labels on the ends of the rope also peeled off, sonic welding or not...

      Was a nice upgrade from the Edelweiss Axis 10.3mm x 60m, but for long sport routes I may look at something lighter.

      this rope is expensive but worth it. this is the best rope that i have ever owned. It is soft and holds knots well, durable and doesnt twist into knots like my last rope. i use this mostly for outdoor sport climbings and i love it, it is well worth the money.

        I splurged on the Supersafe and have not regretted it. An excellent rope; it feels great, holds up well to use, handles well, clips effortlessly. It's the second Mammut rope I've owned, and will not be the last.

          I Love this Rope. It was My First rope, and I Have No Complaints. Stays Soft, washes easily, Strong, safe, and reliable! I've had mine for over a year with regular use and it still looks new! well... Close enough! If you're looking for a "Super Safe Rope"...(hehe) Look No Further! (Great for Top Ropes!)
