Comments about Black Diamond Crampon Bag:
The BD crampon bag is a good, no frills, way to get your sharp stuff to the snow. I use these bags exclusively to get my gear to the trailhead, preferring to save weight by attaching my crampons to the outside of my pack after that point.
The previous reviewer criticized the bag's size. All of my crampons (Grivel, BD, and Petzl) fit in the bag with room to spare. Perhaps he didn't own a pair of crampons that collapsed in the middle?
My only complaint with this bag is that it could use a bottom sheet that was a bit more stout. I recently opened my luggage after a trip to find a crampon point poking through the bottom of the BD crampon bag. Remember to pack something durable underneath this (or any) bag.

Comments about Black Diamond Crampon Bag:
The size is fine, but the material is very flimsy and suffered multiple punctures on the first use. Luckily I noticed before the points ripped up the pack they were lashed to.

Comments about Black Diamond Crampon Bag:
Can't quite figure out the other reviews. This bag is the perfect size for "new" crampons (unlike older longer bags by OR and Grivel which I have purchased). New as in since the late 90's. They fit my Grivel G12s, BD Neves, BD Contacts and my friends Cyborgs. They don't fit my fully ridged CAMP Foot Fangs. Very durable with a daisy chain to secure it to your pack. Bright orange so you don't loose it in the snow. Does the job well and at a decent price.

Comments about Black Diamond Crampon Bag:
This bag fits my cyborgs perfectly. I have to break down my crampons first, but there is no hassle in this. I also like how the size fits in my pack with ease. All-in-all a great bag for the price.

Comments about Black Diamond Crampon Bag:
This bag is small enough that you need to break your crampons down to fit with in, ( just slide the heel bar back ) I also put my spikes heel to toe so they are facing each other so they don’t cut through. BD makes it just big enough but it can be a pain, especially with gloves on. The mesh vents very well and there are daisy chain loops on the back side ( it would be nice to have only the one loop point and save even more weight ) If your accent requires you to stash your points in your pack before your go, or your just looking not to rip your gear up at home this is a solution to your problem.

Comments about Black Diamond Crampon Bag:
I have Grivel G-12 crampons with New Classic bindings. This bag is way too small. The only way to realistically get them both in this bag was to take them apart and put them heel to toe. The plastic cloth material is also not that durable. My points poked through, probably because they barely fit in the bag. Also, no good attachment points to lash onto your pack. Bag is too small and not durable. Nice concept, poorly executed.

Comments about Black Diamond Crampon Bag:
The only way a pair of crampons will fit in this bag is disassembled. My size 10 loafers won't even fit in it.
