    We did get to use these three times before the seams came loose in the seats. My wife and I are both average weight. We purchased them because they were very comfortable, then after carrying them about a half mile we found them to be very heavy and ackward. Tricky to set up and store even with the dirctions attatched to the chair. Go figure? I have contacted the manufacture and informed them of the problems, we exchanged them for a different brand even though the Lifetime warranty appied.

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      Not for hot tall folks sitting a lot

      I'd like to give this a 3.5 rating, but it's 3 or 4. I used this chair at art shows through the summer and the seat fabric ripped after the first use. It didn't really cause any problem, but it certainly didn't give me a lot of faith in the quality of the chair. To make it padded the manufacturer has lined the seat with a plastic foam of some sort and boy does that make for a hot butt in hot weather. Also, I'm only 5'6" but this chair is very low and not comfortable for all day off and on sitting for two or three days at a time. Despite it's flaws overall it seems very durable, and it's a very wide seat. I like the angle of the back, not vertical like many chairs. It's a nice chair to take to the fireworks display, or to the beach, but otherwise it's not for me. I'm giving it to my very short mother. I think she'll love it. I think it's a good chair, just not for my particular purpose.
