Comments about Nite Ize LED Helmet Light:
This seemed like it would be a reasonable product for the price, but it was horribly disappointing. Yes it has velcro- however, it will not stick to a helmet for very long. My husband used this for maybe a bit over a week before the adhesive side of the velcro would no longer stick to the helmet. Also, it says the light is visible for a mile, but I would be surprised if it is visible 25 meters. It has a single LED that shines through the plastic, but the light does not reflect much outwards, just straight on through the end of the plastic. Definitely not for commuting at night or dusk. In short, do not buy this product, or you WILL need to buy another shortly thereafter. Definitely not for commuting at night or dusk.

Comments about Nite Ize LED Helmet Light:
The previous reviewer is correct that this particular model of the Nite ize is poorly conceived and the adhesive-backed Velcro does not work with bike helmets. The light is not flexible (bendy) enough to adjust to helmet curves. And I tried attaching it to my bike bag, a straight surface, but it kept falling off.
However, the light itself is spectacular. Bright and cheerful. I switched to the clip-on Nite ize and it's great. It's not a replacement for a proper tail light. But it's a nice addition.

Comments about Nite Ize LED Helmet Light:
I commute by bike daily, and I have attached this to my helmet. I agree with other reviewers that it is not very flexible, but that has not been a problem for me. Perhaps my helmet has more flat space than others. I also have not had any problems with the velcro. I have to take the light on and off every day or else it would get stolen, and after 2 months of daily use, I haven't had problems - YET. As it is a bit dimmer than a regular LED flashing light, this wouldn't take the place of a taillight attached to your bike, but the ability to place this higher up on your helmet makes this a useful addition. (And frankly, I only use this light, and no tail light.)
