    It took me a long time to finally find a wallet. For about 8 months I was using a rubber band. They got the job done, but I would lose a lot of stuff. I'm a fan of Victorinox and a friend had one, so I decided to try this out.

    I've had the wallet for about a year or so, it still looks like when I bought it, and the zipper works perfectly fine. Though it has only been zipped about 20 times I imagine, I find it more inconvenient than useful. If there is something I absolutely can not lose, I zip the wallet, but it's a pain to unzip it every time you need it.

    Other than that, it's a basic wallet and does what a wallet should. You also get a nod once in a while from a fellow Victorinox enthusiast...

        I've had this wallet for a few years now. It is perfect for my needs. I especially like the way the driver's license compartment has a mesh screen instead of the usual clear plastic cover, and how you can mount your license in its own little holder, making it easy to slide in and out of the pocket.

        However, I had the same problem as a couple of other reviewers here. After a couple of years of normal use, the zipper broke. It's not even the kind that lets you fix it by re-threading the metal pull.

        I'll probably replace it with the same wallet, but sure wish I could depend on that zipper a little more.

          I bought this for a trip abroad because of the zipper, unfortunately the Euro does not fit--the bill is wider than the wallet which keeps the zipper from closing. Not sure about other currency but the US dollar and Egyptian pound fit great! Overall, a good wallet.

                  I bought this wallet about a year ago before heading out to South America on an extended trip. It was just what I had been searching for - well made, perfect size, sufficient pockets for credit cards and paper currency, and zippered for security. I have always found Victorinox travel gear to be very durable and dependable, but I had the same experience that other reviewers have had - after about a year the zipper started to fail. Now it is pretty much useless. Granted I have used the zipper multiple times each day, however I expected a bit more durability from such an expensive wallet.

                  Other features of the wallet have held up well, however the zipper is pretty importand to me while travelling. This year I will probably try another brand.
