The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
This is doesn't even make a good backup pump. As a test in my garage, it took 500 pumps (5 min) to get a 700x35c tire to 60 psi. My Lezyne Pressure Drive pump only took 300 pumps (3:20) to get the same tire to 70 psi. The Topeak with mount weighs in at 68g (2.4oz) while the Lezyne aluminum pump weighed about an ounce more (99g/3.5oz) with mount.

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
I purchased this knowing that it would be a pain to use if I ever needed it, but I simply wanted a pump that would be small, light, and easily concealed for a clean look. This afternoon, I grabbed my road bike and found that the rear tire had gone flat after being gone for 2 days. My floor pump had been left elsewhere so I used this pump to inflate the tire and find the leak. The carbon handle separated from the shaft in about 20 strokes due to a glue failure. Gonna return it and find something else...

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
Read reviews and thought I might need to return it based on suggestions that it took FOREVER to pump up a tire. Tried it and it did a great job of pumping tire up to ride-able pressure. A great insurance policy for CO2 carriers who know CO2 doesn't allow any mistakes. Well worth the money and highly recommend. Not your main pump by any means, but a great backup to CO2. Plus, fits in a wedge bag--unparalleled functionality for size.

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
For any road cyclist with reasonable arm strength who is looking for weight savings and a clean-looking bike frame, this is the only pump to get. It's so tiny that it's easily swallowed up by a medium-sized Topeak under-saddle wedge bag, which means one less item to attach to the frame if one already has such a bag. Or, just put it in your jersey pocket; even jerseys with somewhat shorter rear pockets completely conceal it. I was able to get a 700x23C tire up to 80 PSI in just over five minutes, and 80 in the front tire and 90 in the rear tire should be plenty to finish a one-day ride (one should always carry a tiny Schrader/Presta adapter as well for topping off the air at a service station). There was a fair amount of resistance beginning around 70 PSI, however, and the resistance continues to increase with tire pressure. In my case, it's just the backup pump in case my CO2 supply runs out; at 55 grams of weight it's a no-brainer.

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
Bought this to use as an emergency back-up pump. It is small and discreet. And it blends nicely with my carbon frame (tucks in neatly behind water bottle cage). As others have said, it takes an extensive number of stokes to achieve adequate air pressure, which is why I still carry CO2 (you are crazy if you are planning to use this as your primary pump). But it is comforting to know that I have this in case the CO2 malfunctions or I experience multiple flats.

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
Yes, it is small and it takes many strokes to pump the tire and it might not be easy to do it. But this is not meant to be your primary pump - get a high-power floor pump for daily use. As a very light pump for emergency situations on the road, it is a solid performer. I have had it for 2 years now and had no problems with it. Have been able to go to 100psi.
Don't forget, to pump your tires properly at home (100+ PSI for road, depending on weight) to prevent flats in the first place.

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
This unit is simply too small to be of any real use. It takes a staggering number of strokes to get a road tire inflated to 60psi. I've never had the patience to try and reach the 90psi mark.
So, I am resigned to taking a presta valve adapter with me and inflating to the proper pressure as soon as I find a gas station. Kind of annoying.

Comments about Topeak Micro Rocket CB Pump:
I forget its there light and small. I carry CO2 also. I don't like pumping a whole tube with it. I think the price went up since I bought it?
