Fitting an Electra bike is easy. Start by setting the saddle to its lowest position and then stand over it with both feet flat on the ground. Next, simply raise the saddle until it rests in the crotch. Tighten it in place, and that's it— you're done!All bicycles sold at REI include a free warranty tune-up. New bikes go through a normal break-in period, after which readjustment is important for longevity and performance. Bring your new bike in to your local REI for its free tune-up within 20 hours of use or 6 months from purchase, whichever comes first. Contact your nearest REI bike shop to schedule this important service.

Got this for my little boy & he loved it. Super cool little bike. Out grew it & we never had any problems with it at all. Solid fun ride.

I am really hopeful that this ends up being a great bike. Our first 24 hours has not been good, though. This bicycle rattles like we are pulling empty soda cans behind it.

Service and delivery comments:

When we bought this bicycle we had to wait an hour for the mechanic to give it a thorough once-over. No problem, we were happy to wait. Then we went home and took it out for our first ride. The fender rattles horribly. There may be other loose parts causing the noise, but this one was easy to identify. Given the shop is 45 minutes I will be pulling off the back wheel to tighten the fender myself. On a $300 kids bike with an expert mechanic check-out, I'm not impressed with our first 24 hours.
