        This is one of those must haves to protect your Thermarest pad. I am a bit confused about why this is not included, but it is definitely well worth the small price.

        Does a great job of protecting the sleeping pad, and the daisy chain makes it easy to lash the rolled pad to the outside of a pack or the back of a bike rack in between the panniers.

            Therm-a-rest's stuff sacks run a little large-- if you compare the specs, this sack has a 5.25" diameter. I have a regular-length Trail Pro pad, which rolls up to just under 5" diameter. So the Lite sack fits the Pro pad a little closer, leaving just enough room for the pad to slide in and out easily. At 1.5 oz (~45 g) it's really not much weight, and faster than putting straps on the pad.
