Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
I've used this pack for 7 yrs. I'm short and petite, so this pack is perfect. It fits everything I need for traveling (7 months in South America) and keeps me from loading more than I can handle. I only wish it had a lower compartment for sleeping bag or other gear.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
I used this pack on a two month tour around S.E. Asia. It was great for what I needed. It was lightweight, which was the nicest part. It's also very comfortable as long as it's not too heavy. I would really like it to have more outside pockets though, they're always useful to store things that you know you'll want on your travels.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
The front loading feature is extremely useful, and the hip strap has a really cool adjusting mechanism. Also, the top of the pack (brain) comes off for a handy day pack. Good for 5-10 day trips.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
this backpack is excellent! I just came back from a trip to Peru and the Kelty worked perfect! is a huge one and it doesn't weight a lot. I'm 5'5 and it was very comfy on my back. the front zipper is the most wondeful feature of the Kelty. it makes the packing and unpacking so easy! my trip was only for 10 days, but the Kelty can be use for a few months trip.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
I purchased this pack a few years ago - it was on sale and though I had never owned a Kelty pack before, I had heard good things. Unfortunately, I have been a little disappointed. This pack is relatively spacious and I LOVE the zippered front access (I find packs that only load from the top to be terribly inconvenient), but it is also very uncomfortable. I have owned about 5 backpacks in my life, and this one is the least comfortable of them all. While I'm hiking, I find myself constantly adjusting the straps, hoping that the next pull will make it just right - but it never does.It is tempting to purchase this pack because many others with the same load size are much more expensive. However, if you are planning on using it a lot, take it from me and spend the extra[$] on a better pack. Otherwise, you might end up like me and have to buy a replacement pack in the end...

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
I used this while backpacking in Europe and it was great for my needs. I could fit plenty of stuff in it and was comfortable carrying it around for medium distances. I liked that it had both front and top loading options because that way, most of my stuff was easily accessible. I also liked the inside pocket, where I kept a few things that I didn't want lost or stolen, like copies of my passport and such.
The only downside for me was that the side pockets were a little awkward. I was afraid to put too much stuff in them because I thought the zippers might unzip or the top flaps would un-velcro.
I also got a backpack bag to put it in when I checked it for my flights, so the straps wouldn't get caught or torn during the luggage sorting/loading process. I'm not sure if this was necessary, but I think it may have helped my pack get through the trip in better shape.
I'll consider using it for any trip where I'll need to take more than a carry-on and will have to carry my stuff for any distance. Rolling suitcases are ok in airports, but this backpack was much better for moving around town.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
Thia is the perfect pack for me. I am 5'2" and this one fits great! It is extremely adjustable. You can change the height and even bend the back to fit the curves of your back better. You can access from the top or through the front zippers and there is plenty of space. The padding nice and the bag feels secure.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
This bag is very comfortable and feels extremely light, even when fully loaded. The custom settings make this bag feel form fitting. The only downside is that I need help getting the bag on and off of me. But, once it's on, I give the bag an A+.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
This pack is so roomy I'm tempted to bring the kitchen sink. The padded shoulder and waist straps have ample padding to keep my bony hips and shoulders from bruising. I really like that it can be adjusted while you're wearing it.

Comments about Kelty Coyote 4500 Pack - Women's:
For the money, this is a great solid pack for Women. The fit and comfort is that of a much more expensive pack.
