Comments about Kelty Moraine Pack:
I have the medium 3300ci version (orange/gray) and I love it! I haven't thru-hiked the AT (yet), but for overnight and weekend trips, it has plenty of space, and the well-designed straps and belt let me carry plenty of weight in comfort. While many packs in this size class seem to be eliminating or downsizing outside pockets, I like the pockets to keep the small stuff organized. I wouldn't mind if it was a pound lighter, of course, but I'm hard on my gear, and appreciate the sturdy build. If I could change anything, it would be to add a separate sleeping bag pocket at the bottom, and pockets on the waistband. But I see my Moraine and I spending a lot of quality time together in the future!

Comments about Kelty Moraine Pack:
This is a very versatile backpack, I bought first the Gregory Baltoro, and this Kelty is as rugged but with less comfort and padding. It is simple use and extremely good value.
I miss the opening of the main compartiment from the lateral...but I can live without it in single and 2-day hikes.

Comments about Kelty Moraine Pack:
I had this for 4 years and it never let me down. The only limiting factor is the pack size
