Petites rejoice! New for '06, this Big Agnes® 3-season down bag for women under 5' 8" is roomier than a mummy bag but packs small and light.
- Underside insulation has been eliminated and replaced with a sleeve for a Big Agnes 66 x 20 inch pad (or any 66 x 20 inch pad), sold separately
- Super-light, 15° F modified mummy design features 650-fill goose down insulation--perfect for cool, dry climates
- Continuous oversize draft wedge insulates the connection between the bag and pad to prevent cold air from entering
- Designed for women, with a narrow cut at the shoulders, more width at the hips and extra insulation in the footbox and torso where it's needed most
- Stuff a jacket or a backcountry pillow inside the built-in pillow sleeve and it stays in place all night long
- Contoured, down-filled collar at the top of the bag seals around the neck to prevent warm air from escaping and cold air from entering
- Ripstop nylon shell with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish sheds water; soft, breathable nylon lining
- Two-way, full-length, locking zipper with big, easy-to-grab zipper pull
- Large draft tube located behind the zipper prevents warm air from escaping and cold air from entering
- Fabric stiffeners on both sides of the zipper prevent the zipper from snagging
- Bag will zip to another bag with opposite zipper configuration in the Classic Series
- Includes a nylon stuff sack and a large storage bag

In what universe does 5'8" mean petite?! And what product designer thought that having sizes TWO inches apart was helpful? I'm struggling to find a bag my feet *might* come near the toe box. I'm short, 4'10", a real petite. Women 5'4" and under are petite. And no, I can't use a kids' bag--those are meant for skinny kids who lack the curves a woman's bag is meant to accomodate.
All you true petites out there, keep looking.

All the plus size adventurers can rejoice!! I was so happy when I purchased this bag last year. I'm a little wider at the hips and shoulders than most women so the normal bags were sooo uncomfortable for me. This bag lets you move freely and sleep comfortably even when it's cold outside. The no bottom fill is perfect for tossing and turning because when you slide the pad in the bottom you can move around in the bag without the bag moving with you. This bag is perfect for minimalists who still want comfort. The bag compresses down smaller than a basketball and weighs only 2 1/2 pounds yet is much larger than most womens bags. Plus the price couldn't be better especially compared to the mens version of this bag. I sleep cold yet I've been comfortable in this bag down to 25 degrees.

I used this as a tester bag for a cold weather camping/backpacking trip. This bag keeps you warm. The over sized nature of the Big Agnes bags allow you to sleep with out getting tangled up in the bag. I was able to sleep in the fetal postion with no problem. Very comfortable.

The semi-rectangular shape keeps me from feeling trapped. I sleep VERY well at night. The sleeping system is a great design to not only cut weight but also keep my sleeping bag on my sleeping pad all night. Option to zip with other BA bag works great, very roomy. I recommend this bag to all my friends.

I love the bag - however my feet were almost always cold. Maybe I just have cold feet, but I found that the added room for the hip area seemed to provide too much room for my feet as well; hence I seemed to not be able to adequatley warm up the foot box. All in all, sweet bag :)

I bought this bag for my wife and I have to say... she might just love me a little bit more. She hates being cold and loves to sleep very cozy (I prefer to say extremely warm). Anyhow, she has used this bag twice now and both times we experienced some pretty cool temperatures. Once around the freezing mark and the other was around 40 but with very high winds.
I know it may sound corny... but I will quote my wife. After a cold night, I asked her how she slept (fearing that is was not warm enough or comfortable enough) and she said, "I slept as snug as a bug in a rug".

This is the best bag ever! I have a full woman's shape and this is the first bag I feel comfortable in. I can roll around with out sliding off the pad because of the slide in design. Genius! The zipper keeps getting stuck. But, that may be because I'm in too big a hurry to get into it. Very comfortable, warm, and a fun color too!
