I love my CamelBak Magic. I didn't get the reservoir quite dry when I put it away for the winter last year and it mildewed. After repeated cleanings with increasingly harsh chemicals, I still couldn't get some of the stains out. I'm absolutely sure there's nothing still living in there, but the idea still bugs me. So I bought a new reservoir. The new material is much nicer and easier to clean than the old ones. However, as shown in the photo, it has a Big Bite valve but no Hydrolock. I have no idea why they'd do that! Fortunately I hadn't thrown out my old reservoir so I'll be swapping the Hydrolock from it onto my new one. The top to the reservoir is still very hard to unscrew. I've never had a problem getting it on, but getting it back off to refill or clean is still tough.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    Overall this product is tough and reliable with common sense use. The only minor complaint is the taste, but hey! when your thirsty all that really counts is keeping yourself hydrated.
