This is the cheapest shirt available from Under Armour. It's well built, and works great as an under shirt. You can tell it's not cotton, but it does a great job at wicking sweat away.

I may just sweat a lot, but the one I have absorbs a lot of sweat, but doesn't dry nearly as fast as some of the other tech tees I wear (like Nike). A lot of sweat + light grey = stares in the gym.

I bought a couple of these and 3 pairs of briefs after skiing in a blizzard last December. I was wearing cotton blend undies, which got pretty wet, the undershirt from sweat and the briefs from sitting on the lift in snowmelt, and I got pretty chilled. The Under Armor does it! Same conditions in February, but the synthetics kept my skin dry and warm!

Have hiked the Copper Canyon and the Arctic Refuge and 500 miles on the AT. Always had problems with perspiration under the pack. In a recent trip to Turkey involving hikes,etc. the tees from Under Armour were amazing. One of my fellow travelers was a marathoner and also found the UA GREAT. I live in the mountains in NC and wear my UA tees everyday as I walk my 3 collies.

These shirts are as good as the other Under Armor shirts. Only difference is if you pay $55 the shirt will be softer. I had trouble with the sizes. So when you order buy two sizes,one in the size you think you are, plus a size bigger. Then you just return one on the spot(R.E.I. delivery rocks). I have three of these two are over 7 years old and the new one does not look that different. Except the logo wore out just a little on the old ones. I hate to pay this much for a shirt but boy this one has proven it self over the years of DAILY use at the gym. Then washed and dry in a dryer. I am hard on my cloths.

I'm surprised how much this DOES feel like cotton. It's a bit lighter feeling than a shirt like a Beefy-T. It feels loose and easy and is great for anything sweaty. It dries really quickly and breathes very well while I'm exerting. Because it drapes really nicely and weighs almost nothing it's a great casual shirt as well. Great find.
