The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated4out of5byCATYfromROOMY COMPARED TO OTHER TENTS I'VE USEDGoing camping soon & wanted something with more room than my daughter's 2 person tent (seems her's is 4 x 6... or smaller). I've not set up a tent in a few years, but it only took me 30 minutes to get it set up... the cats enjoyed exploring while getting the fly on. It really seems roomy, especially for 2 adults. For 3 men it would be tight; but it is camping. It is a good tent for the price, not Mt Everest or Wisconsin in winter!

Rated5out of5byDave JufromGreat Tent for scout.Quick setup and tear down. Highly recommend purchasing the matching foot print. Used for Boy Scout Winter Camp in freezing wet weather. Kept 2 scouts dry while sleeping.
The only limit is the rain fly. It covers just the tent so you have to keep your pack inside when it is raining.
Great entry level tent for your scout.

Rated1out of5byrealdealfromholy cow!!!!!this is called a 3 season 2 person tent. it is neither. you could fit 2 people in it in an emergency, but it comes with no option for a fly. where to put equip? w 2 peeps there isnt even room for a pair of boots. w 2 peeps in it, both would be sleeping w the tent in their face for the radical slant in the tent wall. this is tent construction 101. condensation w 1 person is unbelievable-like getting rained on. the construction is poor. the fabric started marring (it long ago shredded) after 1 use. the zipper construction is exceptionally poor-it takes 2 hands if u unzip it any more than 1 ft. the flap on zipper gets stuck everytime. the mesh in the tent cannot be covered so any wind what so ever whips down your neck. the rain fly does not cover well enough (YES, IT SHOULD) to leave window flaps open during rain. all seams leaked from day 1. this tent would be good down to maybe 50 degrees which DOES NOT make it a 3 season tent. this tent is worth no more than 50$.

Rated4out of5byTightwadfromValue on the DollarI ordered this tent while in Afghanistan. I used it within 3 days of getting home for a Webelos campout with my son. Overall, the tent is a good buy for the money. As others have mentioned, it is on the small side. But that is expected with a tent designed for backpacking such as this. It had plenty of space for the two of us, but it would be cramped with two adults. The tent was very easy and intuitive to set up without directions. I also purchased the footprint for the tent.
Overall, this was a good purchase that I'm confident will be "money well spent" down the road.

Rated4out of5byCybjorgfromExcellent tent for the priceThe Camp Dome 2 is a great, lightweight, hassle-free tent for casual camping. My wife and I enjoy taking it when we need something easy and fast. Be forewarned, when the tent claims to be a 2-person tent, that means it can *only* hold 2 people...and nothing else. Unless you are the single occupant of the tent, your gear will not be joining you inside. The rain fly is adequate for keeping moisture off your tent, but doesn't extend out to cover any gear placed around the tent outside.
The tent can be set up easily in just a minute and is sturdy and well-constructed. It is about 6 feet long, so if you are taller than that, I would look elsewhere. My wife and I are both around 5'-11" so it is perfect for us. Since the tent holds two people snuggly, the dual doors are great for access. Otherwise, it would be a pain to have to crawl over another person to get in and out of the tent at night.
The tent contains 4 inner mesh pouches for holding gear. There are 5 inner loops in the ceiling of the tent: 1 in the center for a hanging light, and 4 in the corners for affixing a gear loft (approximately 16" x 24", to be purchased separately). Small details – such as reflective material sewn into the zipper pulls in order to easily locate them at night – prove that this tent is well thought out.

Rated4out of5byreyneryfromIt Rain All NightEasy to set up less than 10 minutes. Just use it this weekend to Garner State Park in Texas. 1st night, it rain all night till breakfast. notice small leaks on the seams on each corners but no big deal. This didn't ruin my night sleep, will water proof it at home. The storm that night was pouring and very windy and my tent was very sturdy. Also bought the footprint, glad that I got it, kept my tent supper dry and clean after that storm and the take down was so much cleaner. Didn't even knew that it was going to rain that night. Thanks to some reviews on this item. Can't wait till next time, rain or shine!
