The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Camp Dome 2 Tent:
No better 2-man backpacking tent for the money! I've used it for a year, bought specifically for canoe trips and warm-weather backpacking, and have been very pleased with the materials and craftsmanship. Excellent wet-weather performance, severely rain-tested on a trip during a tropical storm. No issues at all with leaks or wind. Outstanding airflow - no condensation problems. Only SMALL gripe - I'm 5'8" (not tall by any standard), and laying in it I'm lightly touching each end. NOT a good one for tall folks. That's it - everyone else will love it.

Comments about REI Camp Dome 2 Tent:
Decided on this tent for my first backpacking trip. Was light compared to others tents my friends were carrying and better quality with nice aluminum poles. Set up was easy and during a few pretty hard night rains not a single leak. Remember 2 man tent really means 1 person and gear. Kept me dry while my buddy in his Kelty got wet (probably due to the way his ground tarp was set up though) Very pleased

Comments about REI Camp Dome 2 Tent:
For the price, this is the best tent I have ever seen. I'm sure there are better and lighter tents out there, but not at this price. I am amazed at how easy it is to set up and how well it is made. I have used it backpacking, and while it is a bit heavy, I am glad to have it when the weather turns sour. If you buy this, definitely get the footprint as well to lengthen the life of the tent floor.

Comments about REI Camp Dome 2 Tent:
I bought this tent for my 11 year old grandson to replace an old worn out tent. His family camped last weekend here in Western Colorado and the tent weathered wind, rain, hail and snow. It kept him warm and dry, was easy to set up and is a totally sharp piece of gear.

I love my new tent! It was lightweight, fit perfectly in my backpack along with sleeping bag and mat, easy to setup, and roomy for 2. I've been wanting to get a tent for a while and this is a great investment for many outdoor trips to come!

Comments about REI Camp Dome 2 Tent:
I backpack up to a lot of 14ers in Colorado. I needed a 4 pound tent to keep my pack light. This little dandy fits the bill. It's not rugged for heavy use, but it will keep you dry and protected in rainstorms and holds pretty well when tied down during winds. It's very basic with reasonable ventilation. I'll use it on my Canada to Mexico Continental Divide bicycle ride this summer. Frosty Wooldridge, 6 continent world bicycle traveler

Comments about REI Camp Dome 2 Tent:
You can't beat this price for such a sturdy tent. It's easy to set up even in the dark. I took this tent out in Mark Twain National Forest SE of Springfield, MO one April night, and it was solid and pretty dry. Only a little condensation on the inside, and it stayed very warm. I'm taking this tent backpacking in Rocky Mountian National Park very soon, and I have full confidence in it.
