Comments about Smith Threshold Sunglasses - Polarized:
Absolutely grateful I got them...The most confortable and cool sunglasses I ever owned. I've been hard on these glasses in the last couple of years until finally the ear pieces gave up and broke[...] I sent the old pair in a metal case and got brand new ones in as quick as 4 days. WAY TO GO SMITH!!! They went even further to returning my metal case together with a brand new one...[...]Thank you Smith Optics - I'll make sure that any future sunglasses and googles in my family and friends will always read Smith Optics on them...Thank you for raising the bar for everybody else out there!!!

Comments about Smith Threshold Sunglasses - Polarized:
These glasses fit my big head very comfortably, and the interchangable lenses are an excellent feature. Although the Smith web site claims their new technology in curved lenses does not cause distortion, I have to say after wearing these for a year while cycling, driving and hiking there is noticable distortion. It takes my eyes several minutes to adjust after wearing them. Long periods of wearing them leave my eyes very tired from dealing with the distortion. If it were not for the distortion I would give them five stars.

I origionally bought the Smith Voodoo glasses which lasted for 4 years till the frame cracked in one spot. Smith has an awesome warranty and they replaced the glasses in about 5 days with the closest model which was the Threshold version. I love them. They fit better than the voodoos and are a great replacement style.

I had these glasses for a couple years, until they were stolen in Hawaii.
I bought the non polarized glasses as my sporty glasses, then bought polarized (grey) lenses from Smith and never changed the lenses after that.
The friends were sturdy, I had no problems with the lenses popping out or any issues of that nature.
If you are cursed with long eye lashes, these are good glasses, as they sit of your eyes enough to keep your eye lashes from acting like windshield wipers.
They are a large fit, but if you have a medium size head, they aren't too big. Small heads need not apply.

After buying Oakley’s for the last 15 years I figured I would try something new. I would go through a pair every year and a half. They would either break or get horribly scratched. After researching and talking to friend that has had a pair for almost ten years, I decided to get a pair. I could not be happier. These sunglasses fit great on my larger size head, and the lenses look very dark from the outside looking at them witch I like. The construction of the sunglasses appear to very sturdy. And knowing that they have lifetime guarantee was a good feeling when I bought them. If you want solid pair of sunglasses that last for a long time you should buy them. I am happy I did.

These are my all time favorite sunglasses. I have a rather large head (7-1/4 hat size for what it's worth) and these fit great! The ear pieces are flexible and can be formed to fit you head. The only problem I've had (if you can even call it a problem) is that I wore them so much I wore the rubber out on the earpieces...well the customer service at Smith is so great that I sent them in for repairs and they sent me an entire new pair of sunglasses, case, lenses and everything (no charge!). I couldn't be more pleased with this product or the company that stands behind it!

Clarity through polarized lens is top-notch plus you get 3 other high quality lenses. Very comfortable and look good. Bought them for mountain biking, but they have now replaced a pair of Oakleys as my "do everything" sunglasses (driving, recreational, skiing, etc.) Fit pretty close to face, so when I'm working up a big sweat they sometimes get steamy, but that's more my fault than the sunglasses.

I had a pair of old Smith's that I lost. I finally broke and got the Thresholds. I love them. I'm always amazed at how clearer everything looks with the Smith lenses. Very comfortable and they even fit on a big head like mine. My wife even says I look hot in them. Perfect!

Excellent optics! However, the metal pops through tip (by ear) over time... REI's great return/exchange policy keeps me coming back to these glasses; but, Smith should reinforce tip... Great active sunglasses (I ski, run, bike w/them) IF metal tip doesn't poke your temple ;-)
