      These are my favorite 3-season pants, in fact I've hardly worn my other fleece pants since buying them almost a year ago. After much wear and many washings they still look pretty much new. Can't comment on sizes because the men's fit me better than the women's.

      These are good for a mid layer. just uses some long johns underneith and a nice pair of snow pants and you are set for any snowsport in frigid conditions...my only gripe is that when I first tried them on top of my base layer, the waist elastic band made this ugly ripping sound, almost as if the elastic bands were ripping inside. I tested it out and it seems there are no further problems and the elasticity still holds..but it did seem quite "cheap" for pants that cost [$]

        Awesome pants! Many applications including backpacking, lounging around the apartment, skydiving, etc etc etc. Durable construction, I really dig the side zippers for breathing air. Light, packable, crazy comfortable. Don't be cheap and just BUY THESE...BUILT TO LAST!!!!
