    The volume of this sack made it the perfect replacement for my old sleeping bag stuff sack. The haul handle made unpacking my bag so much easier than the little finger-pull-loop that my old one had, plus it was easier to hang onto in general. It proved to be sturdy, water-resistant, and most dirt wiped right off.

    The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was that the cord securer wasn't tight enough to keep the mouth snugly closed. It pretty easily slipped and loosened if there was any tension on the cord. I had to tie a knot in the cord right above the securer to keep it from loosening, which was then sometimes hard to untie.

        These bags are pretty good nylon drawstring bags. I have several to pack my gear inside another bag.. Keeps things organized.. I even have one on the outside of my pack with the opening facing up... I do not trust the draw string just yet.

          I've had my over 20 years and is still in excellent condition. It's been on most every camping trip from high-adventure to primitive winter camping to summer river trips.
