When I placed this on my head, immediately I noticed that it seemed loose, not fall down loose but not tight or snug either. I bought two different types of head bands from REI and the other one fit perfectly (different brand). I also noticed that the ear covering at the bottom seems to "lift" and not totally cover my ears and I can feel wind going through that small area. I am debating about returning it but for now I will keep it; just disappointed it did not fit me better. I usually wear a hat to run and my head gets hot after about 20 minutes, so I was looking for a head band that would keep my ears warm. So far, I prefer the Turtle brand over this one (and the other one was cheaper!).

This headband is great, and so is the price. My ears stay nice and warm while I walk my dogs. No more cold, painful ears. The extra padding over the ears is what makes this different from other ear warmers. Another pro: its machine washable.

I'm very sensitive about wind in my ears when I run and usually double up on headbands/hats to get enough protection. This is warm and the extra neoprene over the ears means that I can wear it alone even when it's below freezing. Highly recommended.
