This backpacking bag's light, compressible insulation and unique construction work together to maximize warmth when the temperature dips.

  • Unique Z-Baffle construction maximizes loft, ensures consistent insulation coverage and prevents convective heat loss

Ever notice how most sleeping bags are made out of one type of insulation? When you sleep, you lose heat in different ways. While convective heat loss is generally regulated by loft, radiation (in the infrared range) will be best reflected by fibers whose size closely matches the wavelength of your emitted radiation. With this in mind, we've combined a burly, durable, lofty continuous filament insulation that's good at blocking air movement with a soft, fine, thermally bonded fiber optimized to reflect back your radiant heat. This creates a warmer, softer, loftier and more compressible bag than single insulation bags.

        I have yet to use this bag in wet conditions so I can't speak for that. But I will say that I love it. First, the price is great. Second, it's nice and light. Sometimes I'll get a little too warm but it's ok because the zippers are easy to find at night and easy to pull without snagging. I love this bag.

          Along with having top notch insulating polyester fibers mixed with the Z-baffle system, this great bag is accurate in it's temperature rating while having a very good price. I loved the room, as it is roomier than than alot of comparable temperature rated mummies, and a rarely felt claustrophobic. Even with a roomier cut, the long still comes in under 3 pounds. It has a pillow pocket, sleeping pad tie loops, and an all important compression sack. I used this bag down to the mid 20's, staying warm and snug. Somehow the spec measurements listed, do not seem to show how much roomier this bag is to others in it's class, but trust me, this bag has got some room!!! A solid performer at a great price!!
