Comments about Dimension Heavy Duty Training Wheels:
Bought them for my 6 year old granddaughter's first 20" bike. She is average height and weight. She was so excited about the bike. Upon her first use, they started to bend. I thought that I did the install wrong. So back to the garage and check it out. Everything was installed correctly, retightened and straightened the wheel. She got back on and the wheel bent again. By this time she was so upset and so was I. I will try and return them to REI. Don't waste your moony. They are not heavy duty and last about 5 minutes. So sad.

Comments about Dimension Heavy Duty Training Wheels:
Decided to try these out in spite of the other negative reviews, figuring I could return them if they didn't work. Thank goodness for REI's return policy since the metal on the training wheels bent and the bike tipped over within the first two minutes of my daughter riding the bike. I tried to adjust the height and bend them back into place, but that was completely unsuccessful. Unfortunately this was a completely useless product for us, so it will be going back to the store for a refund.

Comments about Dimension Heavy Duty Training Wheels:
Product was a little difficult to install initially. Took a little elbow grease to tighten. Once installed, product worked as intended. Daughter rode almost 4 miles without complications or bending. Not sure about longevity of product but so far so good.

Comments about Dimension Heavy Duty Training Wheels:
I purchased these training wheels for my son. He is a husky little guy so I thought heavy duty training wheels should hold him up just fine. Well, after riding about 1/2 mile with his new wheels they bent like a twig. Really poorly made!

Comments about Dimension Heavy Duty Training Wheels:
We put these wheels on my 7-year-old son's bike earlier this summer. He weighed 45 pounds at the time. The first time he biked with them, they bent beyond the point of being useful.
These training wheels might work with a smaller child, but the 85-pound weight limit is way too high for these.
