      This product allows for very comfortable Nalgene transport. Use the solid handle or its ring as an alternative to looping your finger through the standard, flexible Nalgene bottle tops. Great for hiking or standard everyday activities.

      The best part: you can unlock, press button, and drink all with one hand. (Great for driving.) No two-hand unscrewing needed...until you take it off to wash.

      Doesn't leak at all. Not sure what some other reviewees mean. You just have to hold the button down until finished drinking and bottle is upright again, or it'll catch your backwash in the top.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Is this necessary for your nalgene? Absolutely not. Is it a great luxury for hot drinks? You betcha. The valve is secure and keeps all the liquid inside. The handle is comfortable and keeps you hand from getting burned if you put in hot liquid. The finger sized loop is a great place for a carabeaner to clip to your pack or whatever. It fits great over my hand; so comfortable that it actually helps keep me hydrated by reminding me to drink water.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          It's a bit bulky and heavy so I used it for everything but backpacking. Functions great but be careful using the dishwasher. After about a year's use, the plastic part of the thumb latch broke off in the dishwasher. Stills works though.

            This cap turned my Nalgene into everything I've always wanted it to be. I've not yet had any leaking issues, even with it full on its side rolling around the floor of the car, or shaking it to mix margaritas, or holding it upside down to show off how cool this cap is. The carabiner clip hole is perfect

                Great idea / Great Product. Makes a bottle very comfortable to hold. Mine has not leaked at all, even when shaking the bottle to mix drink powder or throwing in the back seat of the car.

                  I love this top. It fits many wide-mouth waterbottles. The feature that makes this so great is that you push down on a button and you are able to drink without having to twist off a top. It also has a lock to prevent accidental spills. Definitely a great find.

                    This thing is awsome. It is exactly what I was looking for, for my waterbottle at work. I am a teacher and talk all day. The quick, easy one handed operation is great and if I knock it over with one of my many hand gestures, no problem.
                    As far as the leaking problem, when locked it drops the seal a bit and so a small amount can leak when held upside down. It hasn't been a problem for me, but would be a big problem in a pack upside down.

                    This looked cool, but mine broke. orange plastic thumb piece doesn't spring back like it's supposed to, so it doesn't seal properly. This could explain the leaking comments you see in the other reviews. It's also a pain to clean. I switched to the camelback bottle top with bite valve, and have been very happy. I like other Guyot products (spork/spatula) but this one isn't one of them. I should probably just bring mine back to REI and trade for a camelback bottle topper and stop complaining.....

                      I bought one of these and thought that it was great until it fell over and got my seat in my car soaked. After reading some other reviews I contacted the manufac and asked how many rubber gaskets there should be. There should be two orange gaskets and mine was missing one. After I replaced it now it is leak proof. So make sure that yours has two.

                      I love this thing. It makes handling a slippery Lexan bottle much easier. The carbiner hole on the grip is much more secure and durable than the plastic strap on Lexan bottles that most people use to carry them by. It also keeps some pesky insects out of your drink (i.e. yellow jackets if you are drinking something sweet) when your not looking.

                      My only complaint is that the seal is not 100% leak proof. It doesn't leak much, perhaps a tablespoon's worth of liquid when it is locked.

                      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
