The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Coleman Wheeled Ultimate Extreme Cooler - 50 Quart:
The Coleman Wheeled Ultimate Extreme Cooler has proven to be a superior performer for us in southern Utah's temperatures for the past four years on extended camping trips. I could not imagine using anything else in the high desert conditions. This cooler's ability to keep food safely chilled and to conserve ice is unparalleled.
We also use a second personal-sized cooler for drinks in order to maximize temperature conservation in the Coleman Extreme. I wish that Coleman would make a small sized cooler in the Extreme series for such purposes.

Comments about Coleman Wheeled Ultimate Extreme Cooler - 50 Quart:
The old coolers can't compare to this one. Keeps ice for 5 days just as it says. Keeps everything nice & cold.
Get a large one because there is so much insulation that the sides are real thick so you don't seem to have as much storage space as a regular cooler.
Got one, getting a few more & throwing out the old ones.

Comments about Coleman Wheeled Ultimate Extreme Cooler - 50 Quart:
Keeps things cold for days on end. A bit bulky and difficult to maneuver in sand. The interior plastic fades/stains easily.

Comments about Coleman Wheeled Ultimate Extreme Cooler - 50 Quart:
Basically well-made but drainage plug leaked from the beginning...also the wheels are cheaply made. Otherwise insulated well.

Comments about Coleman Wheeled Ultimate Extreme Cooler - 50 Quart:
Drain plug leaked immediately. Was packing the car to go camping so didn't have time to return/exchange. Applied super glue that seemed to worked. Kept cooler at an angle just in case. Otherwise good insulation and size. Not sure if I want to try another one.

Comments about Coleman Wheeled Ultimate Extreme Cooler - 50 Quart:
I read the previous reviews, noting the drain plug issue, and took the chance anyway. Bad move. With loose ice, (vs. frozen containers), the melt off runs right out of the drain plug. Tried to custom fit a wine cork from the inside, but no dice. It's a big problem especially in a cooler designed for mobility, i.e., to be moved from inside to outside and back and so on.
Brought it back. REI was very gracious about the whole matter.
