Comments about Serfas RX Grip 1:
I purchased these grips because my hands were hurting using the stock ones. They are cushy, and feel much better than what came with my bike. Well, I seriously changed my mind after putting 50 miles on these grips. I degreased my bars before installing the Serfas brand grips. They still slip around. I could never find a comfortable spot to hold to releave some pain. I decided to shell out a few extra dollars and bought the Ergon GP1 grips. I haven't used them yet, but I'll write a review once I put miles on them.

Comments about Serfas RX Grip 1:
A cheap grip that provides decent cushioning, but is let down by its tendency to rotate on the handlebar.

Comments about Serfas RX Grip 1:
I used to have to switch hand positions often with the original grips, but not with these. They are very comfortable. They clamp onto the handlebars and don't slip. Just make sure you install them in the right direction, or you may have to cut them off and buy new ones. No specific instructions on this--just really tiny "L" and "R" on the ends of each on, and it may not be obvious if you've never installed grips before.

Comments about Serfas RX Grip 1:
I purchased these grips as replacements for my standard grips. They definitely work as described in relieving hand numbness. They have a 'teardrop-shaped' cross section. In use, the protruding portion of the grip fits behind the second finger joint of the hand.
