This kit for your Yakima Q-rack provides extra crossbar spread, creating more stability for carrying longer loads.

  • Telescoping stretch kit positions rear Q-Towers farther back on some 2-door cars
  • To see if you need the kit, check the Yakima Fit List

Please note: Yakima car rack products can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

This is one component of a Yakima car top rack. For a complete rack, you also need one set of Q-Towers, one pair of Yakima crossbars and two pair Yakima Q-clips (all sold separately). Yakima's Fit List provides clip size number required for your specific car's year, make and model.

    Having a short roofline won't be a problem with this kit. It's fairly straightforward as far as installation goes. If you can read a manual, you'll have no problems installing this hoss. Also, it's cheaper than buying a new car with a longer roofline.
