Comments about Ultimate Direction Sport Bottle - 26 oz.:
Good product. I use two big Ultimate Directions bottles at the gym, and a smaller one with a UD waist pack for trail running. I was pretty sad when my oldest bottle sprung a leak on me the other day right along the molded grip, but then I realized that is to be expected after squeezing the thing practically every [*]'day for a solid year! Maybe I can patch it...

I used to be a nalgene girl, but really, they aren't perfect. Don't get me wrong. They have their place, but this water bottle excels where the standard nalgene lacks. I love the valve. No unscrewing necessary. This makes it perfect for hiking, backpacking or running, if you aren't a fan of the hydration pack. And when it says it doesn't leak, its not kidding. I take it to class with me every day, throw it in my backpack and never have to worry about my textbooks getting wet.

Wow. It takes a fairly firm squeeze to get this bottle to release any water. Once it does, it's like drinking from a firehose. There's no sipping from this bottle. It also doesn't easily go back to it's normal shape after you squeeze a drink out. I like how light it is, though. It's also nice to be able to squeeze it smaller after all the water is out to save space in your pack.
