Comments about Sierra Designs Night Glow Attic:
Sierra Designs changed the design of this product sinc ethe last review was posted. The lights do not twist on anymore, they click on which is much better and can be done with one hand. They also added a zipper section and a set of pockets that hangs down for easy access. This is a handy little item now!

Comments about Sierra Designs Night Glow Attic:
Although I love the attic with its many pockets, zippers, lines and pulls, once the glows go out, you can't purchase them separately! I have the older version with the twisty, reddish glows (hardly lights...more of a glow, really) and I looked everywhere to replace them, without success. I have since tossed out the glows and just use my headlamp in the attic, directed down towards me. My headlamp offers much more light than the glows did...but I still love the attic!

Comments about Sierra Designs Night Glow Attic:
This is a great idea let down by poor implementation. The lights turn on and off using a twisting motion. Alas the mechanism is quite stiff and the lights aren't firmly attached to the attic fabric; twisting the light enough to toggle the switch pulls it off the fabric. This can be avoided using two hands to grasp the back of the light while twisting, but it's a poor design. Something expected to live inside a tent should be reasonably robust. Also, the light output isn't well tuned -- these don't put out enough light to read by.
You'd be better served buying the (cheaper) regular attic and a couple of small led lights that could also be used elsewhere, and just tucking them in an attic pocket.
