Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
Jacket is true to size. I'm 5'3"/115 lbs and I purchased an XS. Worn it out in 2 rainstorms and stayed dry. The only thing that was a little annoying was the armpit vent. The zippers were a little uncomfortable but if you unzip them then everything is fine. I only gave 4 stars because of the armpit zippers.

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
I love this jacket! Totally waterproof. Great for layering. It's gone from drizzly day at home to Denali in Alaska. I had a fuschia one that was inside a suitcase that was stolen and my Phoenix Jacket was one of the first things I replaced, now in blue, but that's how much I love it. Great fit for women, not too long, not too short. The hood could fit better during windy conditions, if it's not cinched in all the way, it won't always stay. But other than that, there are no cons. It goes with me everywhere!

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
I absolutely LOVE my Marmot Phoenix jacket. I, personally, don't have any issues with the PitZips, as some other reviewers have, so if you're considering purchasing it, go ahead and do it--see how it works for you. The jacket is great for wind protection. I was out on a boat with it in a chilly, rainy-ish day, and was kept warm and dry. Overall: great jacket, I can't really think of anything to complain about!

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
the XS body fits very well but the pitzip felt very tight. Changed to S, body fits a bit loose and the pitzip still pinch my under arms. Not a good design.

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
This jacket was purchased at the sale price for the casual recreationist who desired a functional rainproof, breathable jacket that could also transcend with layers underneath to use in winter. Fit is overall good. The hood is well-sculpted. The jacket length is described as long and this is accurate and recommended so rainwater runs beyond the hips and provides additional warmth in colder climes. The pit-zips are absolutely essential for breathability on any of these breathable parkas. Never invest in a rain jacket lacking pit-zips is my recommendation. The cut of the jacket comfortably accomodates a pile fleece sweater. The color lime green seemed risky but is actually a nice appearance mix of being earthy, slightly distinctive, and just sufficiently bright to pick out in a crowd or a snowy ridge line. The felt neck liner is nice touch for the casual recreationist. Satisfactory jacket at the price paid.

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
I really like this jacket. It really keeps out the rain well, which of course does not mean it breathes very well. However, there are underarm zippers that can help with that. I also like that it fits really well. Definitely recommend it!

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
This jacket is just like the Precip except it's hood can be hidden when it's not wet out. I wear it to walk the dog, to the market, casual outings, the rip stop is very durable, light weight fabric w/a slight sheen that kind of dresses it up a bit. When it's cold out I wear my fleece jacket underneath & it keeps me warm & completely dry. It covers my rump too and is a flattering fit. I may purchase another in a different color as well. I'm sure to get plenty of use out of them. Very Comfortable!

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
The jacket has a great fit, but the armpit zipper guide was very stiff. It was very uncomfortable because I felt like I was being poked under the arms.

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
I wear this jacket almost every day, regardless of whether there is rain. I am even able to wear a soft-shell jacket underneath of this jacket on colder days. When caught walking in a rainstorm the other day, this jacket kept my upper-body dry.

Comments about Marmot Phoenix Rain Jacket - Women's:
I needed to find a lightweight rain jacket to use around campus, when on outings, and just light wear in general. So far, this jacket has been great! it withstands the rain very well and all the pockets are great for walking on campus without having to carry an extra bag.
Overall an amazing product! REI is amazing
