Comments about Adventure Medical Wound Closure Kit:
When choosing a kit, consider exactly the worse you except. I have not used this, and hope not to. I chose this based on what bare essentials I wanted in a small light weight pack. The would closure strips, known as Steri strips to those in medicine are often as good as or used in place of stitches. It comes with a good amount of gauze to stop bleeding too. The iodine solution is a serious way to disinfect before closing.
I intend to use this for either minor injuries or stabilization of more serious wounds before medical treatment, so I have opted to remove the irrigation syringe (pouring from a water bottle can effectively clean for preliminary purposes), and some of the disinfectant wipes (it has too many on top of all the other disinfectants).
I added bandaids, more gauze, and a small roll of duct tape, all of which seemed more useful for my purposes.
The tincture of benzoin, which I wasn't educated on, can be used to clean skin before the adhesive strips are applied, or as antiseptic.
When you can only carry a little bit, carry the necessitates.

Comments about Adventure Medical Wound Closure Kit:
I had the opportunity to use the syringe on a gravel-filled brush burn. The syringe quickly removed the gravel from the wound effectively.
