We have gone through hundreds of holds over the past few years from many different companies. Nearly all of our metolius holds have broken beyond use in that time, likely due to our textured walls. Nice shapes and tendon friendly but they break extremely easily. If you have a textured wall look to another hold company! Many others out there have similar holds at competitive prices.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

    Comments about Metolius 40 Hold Mega Pack:

    I have about 50 Metolius holds on my home wall and climb them about 3 days a week. The Mega packs have a great variety, it includes unique features that you won't get with other hold packs (rail, plate, corner) and the mini jugs are actually jugs! The Modulars are great because each one can be used in several ways. I've yet to break a single one and I doubt you will if you mount them properly (don't over torque screws/bolts and make sure they are flush with the wall). I love 'em!
