Comments about Clif Builder's Bar:
This is a great filling bar that can serve as a meal replacement or hearty snack (saving half for later). I have these when I know I'll have little other protein but make sure to get at least a good walk (they are high in fat). All of the flavors are great but my fave by far is the Chocolate Peanut Butter.

Comments about Clif Builder's Bar:
Yum. Delicious bar. Did the JMT with this stuff. One morning we realized that our food guy had miscalculated how much food we were supposed to bring.
This thing ended up being my breakfast for a huge pass... it lasted me all the way up with ENERGY! I felt it working, pulsating through my bones and muscles, pushing me all the way to the top of the pass. I felt like a champ! I then proceeded down to Charolette lake for our resupply and ate and ate and ate...

Comments about Clif Builder's Bar:
These are awesome- they taste good (lemon is my favorite) and they deliver a good boost when you're starting to drag. They got lots of protein and are more convenient than a powder when you're out in the woods because you don't have to fuss with mixing with water. They are better for hikes in colder weather, though, cause they get melty and messy; and they do take a while to eat (big and chewy) but if you're a restless hiker it's ok because it's pretty easy to munch on them while you're hiking.

Comments about Clif Builder's Bar:
I had cookies-n-cream and the vanilla flavors... and really liked them both.
They are big & filling. Their texture is chewy, but smooth... a nice change a of pace from a grain-based bar.
Taste was excellent. Will buy more.

Comments about Clif Builder's Bar:
Okay, these are great tasting, like candy bars. We tend to cut them in half and share them for a dessert. For warm weather hikes, I tend to opt for Odwalla bars instead of these because these will melt. But I have brought these for long, cooler-weather walks, and they were a bit hit. Anything this chocolate-y would be!

Comments about Clif Builder's Bar:
This is a great tasting protein bar. I tried quite a few before deciding to use this. I've tried power mixes, but they always gave me the runs. This Clif bar had an acceptable amount of protein, was filling, and wasn't too much money.
Comments about Clif Builder's Bar:
pretty good. they can be a bit rich but are pretty good when your climbing and most other foods are not that apetizing because they taste like candy bars. good alternative to candy bars.
