    I bought this leash because it seemed easy to use with gloves on. However, it doesn't do the job of a leash at all and comes off even without a fall. I frequently find the leash has come off and is flopping around or worse yet that I'm running over it with my skis. I will get the Black Diamond leashes instead.

      The ability to get away from the skis is what made me try these. I use these on my back country ski since they are light and will hold if I do something dumb at the top of a chute strapping in, but if I eat it hard enough for my binders to release i probably dont want my skis anywhere near me. Also if you were caught in a Avi you dont want your skis anywhere near you. A side note here- I use the Metal BD clips for my resort ski.

      Unfortunately, easy to attach also means too easy to un-attach. In a crash the leash will frequently come off. Even without a fall I have often looked down to find one leash flopping around loose. May be worse with Garmont boots. My daughter and I have both had the same experience. Bought her Black Dimond leashes with the metal clasp and they have been bomber.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
