        Comments about Pelican 1300 Case:

This case is JUNK. It leaked water on the very first use and wrecked my Nikon D200 camera and lens for $ 3,000 dollars. Pelican gave me all kinds of excuses why it was my fault and would not pay the replacement of my camera gear. Yet the [...]statement says it is good to 25' below water. I was snorkling and the box floated on top and was never submerged. Leaked salt water in and destroyed my camera totally. Pelican won't pay so I am out big time money of $ 3,000 dollars. DO NOT BUY THIS PELICAN 1300 CASE ! ! Dave 10-30-07

          Comments about Pelican 1300 Case:

Bought case to protect Pentax ist DS camera on work trip to the South Pacific. ALso use box daily to protect camera in the field. It has performed flawlessly for the last 9 months. It has been submerged, no leaks, but mostly rained upon... Rain forrest jungle in the south Pacific to summer thunderstorms in the back of the work truck. A great product. I now have two.

            Comments about Pelican 1300 Case:

I have been using the 1300 as my medical/trauma box for over two years of day in day out guiding. In most cases it stays inside my kayak for days at a time. But when I get into it, I know my medical supplies are 100% and ready to go in an emergency.

It fits easily inside my kayak, but is easily to get out without slipping into the the nooks and crannies....so when I need it, I can get it out quickly.

I have been very happy with it.

            Comments about Pelican 1300 Case:

I first picked up this case 3 years ago to store my Cannon 5D. Case has been in the water, rain, snow, and heat. No issues at all. Since my first purchase I've purchased two more. One for First Aid and the other for Misc items. Would highly recommend Pelican Cases!
