Designed for active winter fun, the Greenland Zip winter boots from The North Face keep toes dry and cozy when the temperatures drop below freezing.

  • Durable nubuck and split-grain leather uppers are waterproofed for dry and warm performance in snowy conditions
  • Australian shearling sheepskin collars fend off snow entry at cuffs—latex seam-sealed construction prevents seepage of water through seams
  • 400 grams of PrimaLoft® synthetic down-like insulation provides incredible warmth with minimal weight
  • Fully lined with Dri-Lex® fleece linings to manage moisture and keep temperature regulated inside boots
  • Medial-opening zippers with locking sliders make for easy entry/exit
  • Thermal polyurethane outer shells offer excellent wear, forefoot flexibility and complete water protection; heel welt keeps snowshoe straps in place
  • Compression-molded EVA midsoles cushion feet for all-day wear, while embedded nylon shanks create torsional rigidity and help support feet
  • X-2™ footbeds provide additional cushioning
  • TNF Winter Grip™ rubber outsoles grip tenaciously on snow and provide superb wet-surface traction

      My wife loves em because she looks so fashionable at the ski lodge. I like them because she doesn't complain to me about her feet being cold. These are cozy and warm boots, but not great for hiking or really long walks. Because this is not a lace up boot, the heel tends to lift off the bottom of the shoe. This is more of an around town boot.

      These are GREAT for winter and snow situations. They keep my toes warm but not too warm. I'd wear it to work then change into regular shoes as they are too warm for indoor use. However, for playing in the snow and treading through snow to work, they are the best [$] investment ever spent.

      I love my boots. I'm surprised that everyone needed a half a size larger. Mine are too big by at least a half size - which is fine for my pruposes because they are my after skiing/casual walking/travel boots when it is cold outdoors. These boots make my feet *very* happy.

        I tried these on in the store after seeing them online and reading the reviews. I found them to be extremely difficult to walk in. I'm aware that snow boots are normally quite stiff, but this was a little ridiculous. The spot on front of the boot that normally bends a bit to allow your ankle to bend while walking doesn't bend at all. One thing to note about the size -- I'm normally a size 7 (sometimes 6 1/2) in flats and tennis shoes and the 6 1/2 fit but my toes were touching the front of the shoe. The 7 gave me some extra wiggle room. I ended up buying the Columbia Sportswear Cascadian Summette Winter Boots which were [$] less at the time of this review.

          These are the best, most comfortable cold weather boots I've ever worn. I wish I'd had them for the last 30 years. I especially like the curved soles which make walking easy.

            I love the boots, although my 18 year old daughter grabbed them when I brought them home and wore them first. I had to then buy two more pairs, one for her, and one for her 21 year old sister. The only problem with them is that they run small. Buy a 1/2 size bigger than your normal shoe size, especially if you are going to wear heavy socks with them.

                I want a warm pair of boots that is comfortable, easy off/on, and stylish to wear when I play in the snow with my family/dog, driving to work in cold weather, and to wear after skiing/driving home from the slopes. These boots definitely aren't it! My main complaint is the footbed is so stiff that on/off is difficult and they don't allow enough flexibility to bend my foot and drive. The boots are plenty toasty, tho. I doubt anyone would be comfortable wearing them inside. These might be okay for commuting on a train/etc, but not if you have to walk far/drive.
