After throwing with our friends for hours, I immediately went out and purchased one for myself. It's really bright; however, the first one we bought in store was low on batteries (probably from people testing it out in the store) so I would grab one from the back and test it out before you buy it.

I live downtown in a small city in southeast Texas. While there is a park not far from my building, me and my friends typically just toss it to each other in the street while we smoke cigarettes. One night I threw the flash flight directly into a storm drain- it was switched on. it stayed there for 6 days and weathered fairly heavy rains. when we retrieved it a week later it was covered in gunk but fully functional- the lights were dim but thats all. I replaced the batteries and now it glows bright er than on day one.
An amazing toy, I bought the red one for my dad and i have the DISC-O.
I WOULD RECOMMEND SPENDING THE MONEY ON DURACELL BATTERIES TO MAKE THIS THING AS BRIGHT AS POSSIBLE!

I love this frisbee, and that you can twist the battery in a way to keep the lights on or off. However, because I just got it, I'm not sure how the durability of the wire inside the battery cover will last, because I have to move the wire to get the frisbee to stay on or off. However, worked really well on its first night!

Just as fun as playing frisbee during the day. Bring it camping! Another reviewer mentioned that there was no light for a split second while the disc switches from one color to another - this is true and can make it a challenge to catch sometimes.

I like the idea of a light up frisbee, and the idea of a frisbee that changes color was just too cool for me to pass up, but given the choice, even though multiple colors make this super cool, it is just not as bright as my flashflight that just stays red all the time. The disco effect can make it harder to catch, and at times the light is not on for a split second. not a huge problem, but I do find myself using the solid color disc a lot more often than this disco one. Maybe if you could control the disc settings, that would be cool.
