      I love merino wool, but Smartwool is non "wool" smelling, and the best performance wear I have tried. It doesn't get smelly with persperation, wicks moisture and is warm when wet. Perfect for my climate and outdoor activities. I have heard you can wear this stuff on warm, sunny days as well, but that is over here in Alaska! I will try it out next year.

        Smart Wool's claim to being the best line of apparel on the planet is no exaggeration! I find myself reaching for my SMART WOOL clothing again and again and again!

        Whether it be for outdoor adventures like fishing on the Russian River in summer, long snow machine rides with the club in winter or for jaunts around town, I've stayed cozy, dry and comfortable wearing SMART WOOL. Layer this piece with the Midweight Long-Sleeve Zip top like I do and you'll come back saying, 'Yeah Sue--you were right!!

          I love Smartwool products. For merino wool, it is less smelly wool than other brands. It is NOT itchy, regulates body temp supurbly, and breathes! Totally worth the money.

              This is a great shirt for all but the warmest days. It is lightweight, yet warm and I wear it around the house when I keep the heat low, or out with a vest or other layers.

              It hugs the body without being tight.

                These shirts are wonderful, but they must be very tasty. I purchased 4 and 3 got moth holes even with anti-moth products in my closet! Buy these shirts, you will love them, but keep them protected!

                    Wonderful shirt. I have one in every color. Each year I buy a new color. I wear it under sweaters, long sleeve shirts etc. I also sometimes wear it by itself.

                    If you do not like body hugging shirts, buy one size up.

                    I have not had any issues with pilling or wear marks.

                      I really like this product. I bought a set...both top and bottoms at the REI in Tacoma and liked it so much that I ordered another set online.
                      Its the best base layer for most of the year here in the Pacific Northwest. Id like to own a few more sets and probably will.
                      Its soft, easy to care for, doesnt hold odors, the fit is excelent so the wrists and ankles stay cozy. I put a set on after my evening bath and use as pajamas. Then hop out of bed in the am and put something on top and then stoke the woodstove.

                      I have an older version of this shirt that I love, this style however is cut too high in the neck. I constantly am pulling at the neck as it feels as though it's choking me. It may not fit every one this way, but my shirt has only been worn a couple of times as I always reach for my older shirt which fits to a T.
