The hook-shaped Black Diamond Pecker #2 piton can be hand-set for those speedy intermediary moves.

  • Double tapered blade for placement in extremely thin cracks on aid climbs; arched back provides clearance over irregularities
  • Has a large pound-in surface and is easy to remove; tiny teeth give extra grip in soft rock
  • Made of 4130 cromoly steel
  • Small eyelet reduces weight and allows you to tie off horizontals, useful for cleaning stubborn placements
