Comments about PacSafe Metrosafe Secure Shoulder Bag:
The wire in the pack makes it difficult to open. While it is great that it may hinder others from getting into your stuff, it makes it harder to get your own things out. Also, the wires on the main strap came loose on my pack and now poke me. Converting it to a waist/hip bag seems awkward.
Those issuse asside, I love this pack. The strap is long enough to cross your body, further providing protection in pickpocket areas. I carry my cell phone in one of the small pockets, sunglasses in the other, my mp3 player and headphones in the back pocket, and all my cash and cards on the other side. And there's a little room to spare. (Not much though...)

Comments about PacSafe Metrosafe Secure Shoulder Bag:
I took this to Europe because I didn't want to wear a money belt. It was the perfect size to hold my money, passport and other small items I might need. You can clip the zippers closed and wear the shoulder strap across your body, so I didn't have to worry in pickpocket heavy areas like subways and such. The only problem was that after a few days of wearing it on the same shoulder it hurt a little where the strap had been. Solution: switch shoulders every so often.

Comments about PacSafe Metrosafe Secure Shoulder Bag:
I bought this bag thinking that it would be great for traveling. (See above review.) It is a good bag, but I read too much into their security claims. Although it probably helps prevent secretive pick-pocketers, if force is applied to the strap (as opposed to a knife through the wire) the metal clasps do bend and you can say goodbye to all your stuff! It's an unfortunate lesson to learn so you'd be better off buying a cheaper bag that looks cute than this one.

Comments about PacSafe Metrosafe Secure Shoulder Bag:
I took this bag on a trip to Europe this past summer. I felt it was very secure and made a point of wearing it across my chest. My passport, glasses, pen, currency and other small personal items fit nicely. My digital camera did not fit, but my small camera case had a loop that slipped over the bag's shoulder strap, allowing me to carry the camera and bag as a single unit - very handy and convenient. The bag is very sturdy. I plan to use it again on future trips. Recommended improvement: Add a flat, open pocket on the back for easy access to train tickets, boarding passes and trip itineraries.

Comments about PacSafe Metrosafe Secure Shoulder Bag:
I bought this as a sturdy bag for my binoculars and camera and it works wonderfully for that. The strap needs a pad though which can be put on and I did have to remove an inner divider to make room but otherwise it is a great bag to haul your stuff in. Since the camera and binoculars cost almost a grand I wanted a theft resistant bag and this has the features I wanted for that.
