This is a stuff sack? I bought this because unlike the REI sleeping pads this pad does not come with its own. I was disappointed that at [$] this bag was bigger then it should be. The pad will very easily fit in this bag and then expand to fit. I would prefer a tighter fit so the pad will be kept compact. It is very light and of good quality.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

These sacks keep pads compact, but if they do, they also can take a lot of struggle to cram the pads inside. I've gone back to using a strap, which keeps it tight but takes only a sec to wrap.
