Comments about Freestyle Tracer Pedometer:
I have tried many different pedometers-at least 4 or 5 of those [...] carries. I like this best. It stays in place on my belt better than most, the clip lasts longer than a lot of them, it has a timer, it's easy to read and and to reset.... I just lost one and I'm ordering another of this same one. Only drawback is sometimes the stride length gets reset unintentionally. I glue a small piece of rubber on top so the buttons cannot get pushed accidentally, which almost entirely prevent that problem. I use it every day for walking around 5 miles.

Comments about Freestyle Tracer Pedometer:
This pedometer has lots of functions: timer (that stops when you stop and starts when you start- love it!), clock, calories burned, distance (mi/km), steps. Pretty easy to figure out and use. Very simple. Small and compact, I don't notice it when I walk/run, but longer tight tops fit a bit awkward as it sits on your hip. One thing I wish it could do would be to switch stride length calculations automatically when I go from walking to running- I have to do this manually. Overall, great product for what I use it for.

Comments about Freestyle Tracer Pedometer:
The buttons are not protected in anyway so they're easy to hit and it is too easy for the pedometer to reset things. I set the time twice one day, my weight twice one day, and at the end of the day I knew I had more steps/miles than it said I did I just don't know exactly when everything was reset in the day. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

Comments about Freestyle Tracer Pedometer:
I bought two of these in mid-Jan, one for me & one for my wife. The distance functions and calories burned are NEVER accurate because the stride length & weight entered at setup seems to continually change by themselves. My belt clip broke within 2 months.

Comments about Freestyle Tracer Pedometer:
Whoever designed this product had a great idea, but they did not make it usable. I was impressed with the meter, but I had to give it the lowest rating because I could not keep it clipped to my clothing. The clip is so poor that the meter kept falling off and getting lost. I was always able to find it, but it was a super pain trying to keep it clipped on.. Finally, when I clipped it over the waistband of my jogging pants and my running shorts,to keep it from falling off, the clip snapped off. The clip on this meter is not a spring clip. At this writing I still have the meter but will be returning in as soon as I can get to the store. If the company that made it would put a good spring clip on the meter, I think it would be rated a first choice. For now, don't buy it, it will drive you nuts.

Comments about Freestyle Tracer Pedometer:
Way to easy to accidently reset because buttons aren't recessed and are easy to push -- even my parka reset it. Might be OK for the treadmill at the gym but pretty much useless for hiking, cross country running, etc.

Comments about Freestyle Tracer Pedometer:
While this product was easy to program and easy to use, I found it also too easy to reset by accident and lose your days information. I bought the[$] Omron and love it. No mishaps since.
