Mad River's flagship expedition canoe! This canoe combines Kevlar® construction with the IQ Modular Gunwale system for the ultimate in canoeing.

  • IQ Modular Gunwale system allows seats to be moved or removed; position seats to best respond to the changing conditions encountered while paddling
  • When paddling solo, simply remove one seat and slide the other to the center; can be fit for tandem use in less than five minutes
  • Constructed with layers of Kevlar® to get a light, extraordinarily tough hull; gel coat outer surface adds protection and beauty
  • Fine entry and exit lines deliver increased hull speed over the Royalex® version
  • Highback, suspended seats' height and angle can be easily adjusted, making them more comfortable than average cane seats
  • Modular accessories (sold separately) can be added when needed or desired and removed when type of paddling changes

    I bought one of these[...]earlier this year and took it to Quetico Provincial Park for ten days. This canoe outperformed the other two that made the trip. I love it.
