Good leash, but...

I find the android leashes to lock down well & stays comfy & to be easy to release even with gloves on. However, I would up going to the standard Android leash for my Vipers, rather than this one that clips directly to the tool shaft, because I realized I wouldn't be able to reach my hand to the head of the tool with the leash clipped to the middle of the shaft. The regular android leash attaches to the head of the tool gives me the option to reposition my hand on top of the tool, for instance if I'm walking up snow/ice slabs to get to a technical climb.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Cant say much about it since it does not fit my new tools. It is made for the BD Viper; unfortunatly that would for the 2004-06 not the new 2007 which has a different attachment system. [...] make sure you get the correct one.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
