    Comments about Isle Royale National Park - Foot Trails and Water Routes:

    Bought this for my first Isle Royale NP trip and it was well worth it. I planned my entire 10-day trip based on the advise in this book and was not dissapointed. Mind you, I very rarely buy such books.

    They do a decent job of describing the various trails and associated skill levels and give a good sense of the terrain. They also described the level of human activity to expect at each campground and gave a good advice as to the spots to go or avoid depending upon your needs. Because this NP requires a bit of planning to visit (due to the coordination of the ferries, fees, water taxis, ...) it's nice to know what to expect well ahead of time.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
