      I commute about 40 miles a week and put this seatpost on my commuter bike. I used it for almost 3 years before it broke and the seat fell off. Fortunately I was not impaled by the seatpost (ouch!) and did not crash.

      I weigh 205 lbs and ride a lot. This seatpost would be good for someone who is light or does not ride much. Despite its safety issues it does cushion the bumps.

        This seat post came on my Metro. I image that it works ok with the seat that it came with. However, once I upgraded the seat in no longer works. It will not hold the seat at one angle, if you adjust it it will slip back to the default angle during your ride.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        This is strange! I bought mine last year [$]it woobles a litle bit from the saddle mounted. It don't bother me much cause I got used to it for sometime now.
