I bought this to wrap around my padded laptop tablet home padding case and tested that 24 inches around would be perfect... well this may be 24 inches long, but when you thread the end in the buckle AND buckle it, it's not 24 inches. Just shy of 23 and I left only 1/4 of an inch out when in my book an inch would be reasonable for a secure threading end. If you must, buy bigger and cut it off. I also bought a similar brand / item from REI, same problem only shorter.
