My dog loves these discs. She is a Border Collie mix and she jumps as hard as she can to catch this disc.

The soft edge does not tear the dogs mouth up.

If there are several frisbees laying around, she always chooses this one.

This is an excellent disc for teaching kids, super light and forgiving, and not at all intimidating to catch. I would've loved it and rated it 5 stars...

BUT I also bought it to teach my dog to play catch with a disc. It was listed in the "dog toy" section, and the description recommends it. However, the very first time she managed to grab it, her teeth put holes in the disc. Within just ten minutes of play, the clear part had tooth marks and holes all over it. (No, I did not allow her to chew it, she either caught it or picked it up off the ground and carried it to me.) I realized that it wouldn't even last one play session, so I returned it to the retail store. I wish the material were more durable, this is a perfect size and weight to carry in the car or a backpack and to play with people of all ages, and the soft edges would be great for dogs if the hard plastic part were more durable.

I highly recommend this disc, but not for use with dogs.

The dog loves this toy, hands it to me instead of dropping at my feet. Developed radial crack in clear hard plastic center after 8 days; now the center looks like a starfish with 5 legs after 3 weeks of use. Berkley is looking for it but I was concerned he might swallow a piece of center when it cracks out, maybe in his mouth. Unfortunately; to the landfill it goes!

I love this product. I've used all of Aerobie's products and the 10" superdisc is the best all-around. My current disc is almost 3 years old. It's stored outside year round on the patio table, just in case we feel like a quick game - and other than a slight discoloration - it flies as good as day 1. We've played with it at the beach - BTW, it floats, unlike the aerobie ring, which sinks. Easy to throw, the soft edge is easy on your hands. It flies far and smooth. If you have lots of space (you'll need it), break out the ring and get ready to run. Amazing distance!This has been great for my family. My teenage boys, their friends and I (I'm 46) have played for hours. We BBQ a lot, and we love to grab the disc; get a little excercise and have some laughs. Thanks Aerobie & REI - best [$] I've ever spent. Priceless!

This frisbee saves the fingers from a miss-catch and can easily be thrown straight by a beginner. It is very light-weight and I does not fly well in windy weather. However, with little wind, this is the perfect frisbee for hours of outdoor fun!! It is durable and easily visible with its brightly colored outer ring. I would highly recommend this item!!!!

This frisbee saved a really awkward family gathering. Our autistic cousin could even fly it and that's amazing. It flies exactly like you think a frisbee should, but usually don't. It's stable, flies straight and far. The soft edge really minimizes the ouch when you catch it wrong. I was always awful with frisbees, but I felt like I almost knew what I was doing. It's a great outdoor toy!!!

I actually have two of these disc's. At first I was pretty skeptical about how good some disc could be but after playing with it in a few ultimate frisbee games I became a total believer! These fly straight and have great stability in the air. No more wobbly stray trows with this disc! And not to mention the outside rim is made of a softer rubbery type plastic that is very forgiving on the hands and other parts of the body if made contact after a trow. Well worth the money!!!
