Comments about Bibler I-Tent Vestibule:
We all know the I-tent is very small. Not a bad thing especially with its -15F on the mountain. Smaller tents are warmer. But where to store your boots and pack when the weather is poor ? Where can you light your stove if your EXTREMELY careful? (Using a stove in a tent is very dangerous and should only be a last resort the I-tent and vestibule do not have fire retardant fabric and will burn like a candle.) . I have used mine on several times and have been glad I packed the Extra weight. I typically use it when I'm snow camping and when the weather is iffy for a trip. I have found it to be easy to setup and very sturdy, however it is noisy when its windy as it only clips to the tent there is no zipper or velcro to keep the sides affixed to the tent. Its also extra weight and bulk that I don't want to carry 1/2 the time. So in short if your dedicated to fast and light backpacking, this is just extra weight. If you want a little more room when the weather turns bad, and you plan on using it occasionally this is the ticket.
