I bought this floor saver to pair with my Eureka Zeus LE 2 tent which I use for motorcycle camping. I got it home and set up the tent on my grass covered back lawn to be sure the floor saver was the right fit. The floor saver seemed awfully thin but I really like the tent and figured Eureka knows what they're doing. Satisfied that it was the right fit, I proceeded to pack up the tent when I noticed that after only this one set-up on grass, the floor saver already had holes! This product is WAY too flimsy for the intended use. Protection from rocks and roots????

I purchased this item to protect my footprint on my REI Quarterdome T2 tent. Since my tent is ultralight, my footprint is lightweight and minimal, so I bought this item as extra protection to make my footprint last longer. I use it all the time for car camping, and as an optional item when backpacking. Unlike the previous reviewer, my floor saver has held up very well after 20+ uses. No holes, only a few dents and scuffs (which saved my footprint, which is the whole point!) I also found it's very useful because it collects the ground moisture instead of my footprint. It dries much quicker...just hang it out while you eat breakfast, then shake it out, pack it up and you're on your way! Don't forget to trim it so it fits completely under your tent. I also use it INSIDE my tent on those occassions when I go backpacking with my dog. It protects my tent floor from her nails since she sleeps in the tent with me.
