      Comments about Eureka Floor Saver Square - Medium:

      Turns out this item is far too thin to provide protection on hard or rocky ground. We were camping in a location where no matter where the tent was set up you would be on some rocks. The purpose of this item is to keep the inside of the tent dry if it rains and to PROTECT THE FLOOR OF THE TENT. I now have several small holes in the floor of my tent...there were NONE before this trip. I am very picky about caring for my gear too, there are no shoes allowed in the tent for example so that can not be to blame. This is very disapointing given the cost. I camped for many years with only an inexpensive heavy duty piece of black plastic as a ground cloth and NEVER had damage to the floor of the tent. Looks like I'll be on the hunt for a source for that good old heavy gauge black plastic...really not sure what to do about the damage to my tent though, I'm REALLY upset by that!!
