Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
First bought the watch around 2001 and lost it a couple years later. I recently decided I needed a watch and didn't hesitate to purchase the same one. I love it. I needed something rugged, refined and waterproof. The band does come undone much easier than synthetic or leather. The watch is 7 months old now and still looks fairly new. I don't understand that others are saying it "scratches easily" There are small scratches about the sides (a few fines ones on the face), but I once had a well-made titanium watch that did the same thing. Perhaps I'm loyal to the brand, but it still looks really good and I love it.

Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
In the 3+ years that I've owned this watch, I've had to replace the watchband for it twice. The watchbands are expensive, proprietary, and difficult to find. The watchband was out of stock on Swiss Army's Web site for at least 9 months. The watch still looks great and is comfortable to wear, but the crystal on mine steams up regularly whenever I'm doing anything strenuous outside in the sun: backpacking, yard work, whatever. It's also been losing about 10 minutes a month lately, which could just mean that its battery life is about up. For the money, I wouldn't recommend it, and won't be replacing it. The Garrison model looks like a much better deal.

Like others, I have found the watch to be solid and dependable. But the strap does not last long. [...]

Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
The watch looks great regardless of the setting. I can wear it on a 20 mile run or in a formal business setting. The black face with the while letters look great with the brushed stainless steal case. The face is luminescent enough to read all night. I have owned Swiss Army watches in the past and have been very please with them. It is a great instrument for the person who wants a watch for telling time.

Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
I have had this watch for about 4 years. The only complaint would be the band. It is somewhat hard to find a replacement but not impossible. I bought 2 when I needed to and now have spare for when it becomes a necessity. As far as the one guys issues with scratching I have to wonder just what he is doing to scratch it? In 4 years of use with numerous backpacking trips and use at work (truck driver) mine still looks perfect. Just a darn good watch without all the unneeded bells and whistles.

Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
I love this watch. It fits great and stays put on my wrist. It's durable. I wear it daily and my work puts it through a lot of harsh tests. I really appreciate its classic simplicity, no bells and whistles, just an accurate watch that looks and feels great. I would highly recommend this timepiece.

Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
The watch is OK - it looks great and the case appears to be very durable in the 3 weeks I've owned it. However, the band doesn't fit as well as I would like, it doesn't seem especially durable and it cannot be replaced with an after market canvas band (my fault, I would have realized this had I investigated more).
Also, while the luminous hands and numbers are nice, they aren't luminous enough to see in the dead of the night.

Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
Like the look and analog functionality, however lens scratches easily and the soft plastic strap does not "stay put" in the buckle - pops open and almost falls off. Requires a redesign on the strap. Strap is very comfortable however.

Comments about Swiss Army Excursion Watch with Fixed Bezel:
This watch is a basic stripped-down wrist watch. It is comfortable on the wrist and easy to read. I've had it a few months now and it has not missed a second according to the US Naval Master Clock. The watch is easy to take on/off and very funcional. I would highly recommend this watch for it's simplicity and comfort.
